On April 19, 2008, former Led Zeppelin front man, Robert Plant, visited the Star Café.
Interested in the historic civil war battlefield, Fort Duffield, Plant ate lunch at the Star Café before his evening performance at the Louisville Palace.
He ordered the pork tenderloin, mac and cheese, and stewed apples with a decaf coffee. He also had a bowl of beans and cornbread before his meal.
